Man injured after falling into an empty cistern on a construction site in Costa Teguise

A man has been injured after falling inside a cistern at a construction site on El Hierro street, in Costa Teguise, as confirmed by the Local Police of Teguise to La Voz.

According to what this outlet has learned, the injured man fell from a height of three meters into the cistern, which was without water.

Upon the arrival of emergency services, the person was conscious and complaining of pain in one arm, although he did not suffer serious injuries.

At this moment, three fire crews are at the scene to rescue him with a mechanical ladder, as the person fell in an area of the construction site that is difficult to access.

Local Police of Teguise, Civil Guard, and firefighters from the Emergency Consortium have traveled to the scene, as well as a medicalized ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC).
