How good that they kicked you off the ship in time, Paulino, because Coalición is sinking. It sinks, because of that ballast that fills the pockets of a few, with the number of rich people in the Archipelago having multiplied, while the majority of the population is submerged, more and more each day, in poverty, social exclusion and even hunger; when the number of unemployed has multiplied almost equally and the purchasing power of families has decreased significantly; when the number of suicides and evictions is unparalleled with other places in the Spanish state; or while a group of activists against oil, which you are supposed to combat with such bravery, are adrift, abandoned, without an institution to plead in their favor. As is the case with the ANC activists who demonstrated in the Savage Islands.
Your silence and that of your party, including young Clavijo, says it all. You ran out of political arguments a long time ago. Your "foundations" have no support in any ethics or morals, neither before nor after the courts and the Senate. Your concept of politically correct is tied, like your ties; outdated and obsolete, because they have not matured as quickly as our People; and your party is socially finished, because you have worked hard for it or, as we say here, "you have earned it".
I don't expect an answer or a reply. I don't expect anything from you. We are enough between some union and many other political and social organizations to bring our colleagues, the activists who demonstrated against oil in the Savage Islands, safe and sound, who appeared in the news that you don't see, about whom the Portuguese Prime Minister made statements yesterday, on his return to the Canary Islands.
Without further ado, thanking you for your silence and wishing it eternal, confirming how much you are missed at times, I say goodbye to you forever.
