The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts strong winds and the presence of dust for this weekend in Lanzarote and La Graciosa. As you may recall, both islands will be under a yellow alert for wind this Saturday, with gusts that could reach or exceed 70 kilometers per hour.
Specifically, the alert will begin at 12:00 PM on Saturday and will extend until 11:59 PM of that same day.
For Saturday, partly cloudy or clear skies are expected, except for some intervals in the early morning. Temperatures will continue with little change or a slight decrease in the minimums, with values between 15 and 20 degrees.
For its part, the wind will blow between moderate and strong from the northeast during the first half of the day, strengthening to strong with probable very strong gusts during the second half of the day, especially in the late hours.
As for Sunday, Aemet forecasts mostly clear or clear skies and dust is not ruled out, both in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. Temperatures will have few changes, with minimums of 12 degrees in the north and maximums of 24. The wind will blow moderately to strongly from the east, being from the northeast on the coasts, with probable very strong gusts during the first half of the day. The wind will decrease slightly in intensity in the late hours.
