"What I am totally sure of is that in Teguise we have 20 families requesting that subsidy, because in Teguise we have families to whom it is completely insufficient."
Throughout our lives, we are presented with some situations that arouse certain reactions. In my case, on this occasion, visceral. Maybe it's because I'm young, or so I feel, maybe because I still retain the principles that made me get into politics, those that today seem to some from another era, such as the struggle for the rights of those who have no voice, that the administration is at the real service of the citizen, and an effective system that takes care of our elders.
I believe in the culture of effort, that our children receive quality education and that we can develop as a people in peace, in the broadest sense of the word and also, of course, fight for what one considers fair, from the broadest sense of the word.
I know some of the residents of Teguise who have requested the help and I reiterate that they urgently need the help. That is why, at the very least, I have to feel indignation and shame that once again and due to conspiratorial political ploys, politics is put before what is really important, the citizens and their rights. I do not know the criteria of assessment used when making decisions, I suppose there will have been. What I am totally sure of is that in
Teguise we have 20 families requesting that subsidy, to whom it is completely insufficient. What is urgent is not the political gain, in one sense or another, what we have to fix is the problem as soon as possible, right now, at this moment 135 families are having a worse time, due to political issues. I reiterate, indignation and shame is what I feel.
