The twenty young participants in the program Living adolescence without risk of the Department of Social Welfare of the Arrecife City Council, directed by Maite Corujo, carried out last week an excursion to La Graciosa, framed in the series of educational, recreational and sports activities designed to promote healthy lifestyles and strengthen their personal and social skills.
Managed by the +Familia Association, this program is part of the actions of the Municipal Team Specialized in the Attention of Children and Families (EMEIF) and is aimed at young people from Arrecife between 12 and 17 years old with an open file in the aforementioned team, as well as their families.
In this regard, Maite Corujo "points out that this excursion to La Graciosa has contributed to young people experiencing ways of relating, living together and enjoying away from risk contexts, one of the main objectives set by the Department of Social Welfare of Arrecife through this project".
Started last April Living adolescence without risk will continue to be developed until March of next year with the programming of new training and leisure activities, including workshops on coexistence, digital skills, academic guidance, and proposals also aimed at mothers and fathers, reinforcing their key role in the emotional development of their sons and daughters.
