Timanfaya has received more than 22 million visitors in the last fifteen years

This protected natural space is the second most visited in the national network of parks

Timanfaya National Park has received 22,986,630 visitors in the last fifteen years, representing a high percentage of the 31,384,583 visitors that Lanzarote has welcomed in this same period of time.

Specifically, last year the National Park was visited by 1,815,186 of the 2,835,450 people who arrived on the Island. The Tourist Center of Las Montañas del Fuego was visited by 889,797 users and the Visitors and Interpretation Center of Mancha Blanca, by 123,205.

The objective of Timanfaya National Park is to achieve a harmony between the enjoyment and public use of the park with the preservation of the natural, cultural and landscape resources that motivated its declaration. This protected natural space, which occupies an area of 5,107 hectares, is the second most visited national park in the entire Network of Parks.
