The Tías City Council has announced that next Monday, June 6, work will begin on the execution of the project "Conservation and maintenance of Princesa Ico Street in Puerto del Carmen", which will have an estimated duration of two months.
The Consistory points out that this project, awarded last month for an amount of 345,049 euros, belongs to the 2021 Municipal Cooperation Plan of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, which integrates three other projects in the municipality of Tías, such as: the improvement of the wake building; the replacement of the roof of the sports center and the renovation of the Mácher cultural center.
In the case of this project, the City Council details that it foresees the "execution of the underground canalization in the sections not previously executed, comprising five road crossings and a section under the sidewalk, all with their corresponding records at the road crossings and every twenty-five meters under sidewalks."
In addition, they point out from the Consistory that a section of pavement with curbs and paving stones with the same characteristics as those already executed in the rest of the street will be executed, and the area destined for vehicles will be repaved by means of the contribution of two layers of asphalt firm, a layer of regularization and another layer of rolling. Finally, the definitive signage will be placed and the gardening will be prepared.
