The Tías City Council, governed by PSOE and Unidas Sí Podemos, has executed numerous works in the municipality with its own funds, among which the creation of a small picnic area in Mácher and the construction of stone walls and socos in Tegoyo stand out.
The mayor, José Juan Cruz, and the councilor for the Environment and Tegoyo Shelter, Carmen Gloria Rodríguez, visited the area of the Mácher playground, where the garden area and public space have been conditioned with the installation of three wooden tables with their respective benches.
The investment of the Tías City Council in this small picnic area amounts to 11,283.15 euros. "Little by little we are conditioning the corners of the municipality that enjoy prominent public use, such as the playground and courts of Mácher, which have become an attractive recreational point," said the mayor.
Regarding the Tegoyo Shelter, the City Council staff has created stone walls and 8 socos as windbreaks with an investment of 15,595.25 euros. Stone walls, known for their rustic aesthetic and durability, are a popular option for rural areas and traditional-looking buildings.
