Tías approves a 95% bonus on the IBI for community agricultural exploitations in the municipality

The Tías City Council has approved in an ordinary plenary session the modification of the fiscal ordinance regulating the Real Estate Tax (IBI) which includes, among other points, the 95% bonus of the tax quota for agricultural exploitations in the municipality.

According to this point, “they will be entitled to a 95% bonus of the full tax quota, the rustic properties of agricultural cooperatives and community land exploitation, in the terms established in Law 20/1990, of December 19, on the Fiscal Regime of Cooperatives”.

The City Council's Finance Councilor, Tomás Silvera, confirmed in his plenary speech "the government group's commitment to the primary sector and to the economic diversification of the municipal area by carrying out fiscal measures such as the establishment of substantial bonuses".

“We are with the primary sector and we demonstrate it with concrete actions that have direct benefits. We value the effort of all those people who are dedicated to agricultural exploitations and we support the revitalization of the rural world, making it easier for people to have new opportunities”, Silvera declared.

The Head of Finance added that "the approved proposal for the specific modification of the fiscal ordinance regulating the IBI also affects thermal or electrical solar energy exploitation systems, provided that determinations such as the residential use of the property are met".

Regarding thermal solar exploitation, the taxpayers who own residential properties with these systems will have a 20% bonus of the full tax quota.

Regarding electrical solar energy exploitation for self-consumption, the bonus will be 30% of the full tax quota. And those who have category A energy efficiency certification will have a 50% bonus
