The Teguise City Council signs the agreement to manage the municipality's cemeteries

The Teguise City Council has signed an agreement for the transfer and use of the municipality's Catholic cemeteries with representatives of the Catholic Church. Thanks to this agreement, the City Council will be in charge of managing its operation and maintenance for 20 years of the holy fields of Tao, Guatiza and La Villa, although the latter is in disuse.

The maintenance of the facilities under public competition aims to homogenize the conditions of purchase of niches in any cemetery in the municipality, since until now the City Council only managed the municipal cemetery located in La Villa.

Due to this agreement, the City Council has announced that it will initiate a series of measures in the cemeteries such as the construction of new niches and the designation of personnel aimed at the conservation of the spaces.
