The Teguise City Council has celebrated the information made public by the Transparency Commissioner of the Canary Islands, who has communicated to the institutions the quality scores of the transparency portals of all the Canary Islands.

"The score obtained by the Teguise City Council, corresponding to the year 2019, has been outstanding, with a 9.72 out of 10, exceeding by more than 2 points its own rating with respect to the year 2018", they emphasize from the Council. In this regard, the mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort, has congratulated "the entire Corporation of Teguise for having managed to improve and demonstrate that with desire and constant effort the institution can adapt efficiently to the new demands of citizens and the use of new technologies to offer all data, reports and documents on municipal management that accurately reflect the activity through the online Transparency Portal."

"This data means much more than a pass for Teguise and for all the civil servants and public employees who make it easier for the City Council to fully comply with its obligations," added the mayor. "We will continue to show the residents of Teguise a continuous update of the information, which is presented in the clearest and most accessible way to guarantee the right of access to information by taxpayers as much as possible," Betancort said.
