The removal of abandoned cars at the entrance to the capital continues

Abandoned vehicles on the streets are a recurring image on the island. Therefore, the Teguise City Council, after the agreement reached between the waste treatment company and the owner of the land in front of the Lanzarote bakery, is proceeding these days to remove dozens of vehicles abandoned during the last year and that have accumulated irregularly in a private plot located on the municipal boundaries, in front of the Lanzarote bakery, at the northern entrance of Arrecife.

In addition, the City Council reminds citizens of the prohibition of abandoning vehicles on public roads and recommends that residents contact the waste treatment company or the Local Police to deregister their old vehicles, which, they say, will facilitate the task.
