The National Police will move to Teguise for DNI and passport renewal

The Teguise City Council informs that next Monday, February 2, members of the National Police will travel to the vicinity of the Teguise City Council to facilitate the issuance and renewal of National Identity Documents (DNI) and passports for citizens.

Interested individuals must book an appointment in advance, either by visiting the Teguise Local Police in person or by calling 928 84 52 52. The City Council reminds everyone that those without an appointment will not be served.

The mayor of Teguise, Olivia Duque, stated that "from the City Council we work to facilitate citizens' access to basic services, coordinating with other administrations to bring them closer to the municipality whenever possible".

Likewise, it is reminded that the payment of fees must be made exclusively in cash and with the exact amount, as the agents on site will not have card machines or change.

In the case of the first DNI expedition, the physical presence of the applicant and the presentation of the documentation required by the National Police will be mandatory. The established fee is 12 euros, except for those holding a valid Large Family card.

When dealing with minors or incapacitated individuals, the procedure must be carried out in the presence of the person exercising parental authority, guardianship, or legal representation, who must identify themselves with their valid DNI or NIE

Likewise, the Teguise City Council informs that this service for issuing and renewing DNI and passports will soon be offered in different parts of the municipality, with the aim of facilitating access for all citizens. New appointments and locations will be announced in advance so that interested individuals can request them
