The Local Police of Teguise premiered this week new mobile devices with the aim of facilitating the police work of the agents who develop their service in the street. The ten units of smartpthones Doogee S68 Pro and mobile printers acquired, together with the Eurocop police management software application, will allow agents to consult any information when they intervene in the event of an offense and need identification of people and / or vehicles during their service.

It will also facilitate the collection of data for the preparation of reports, parts in traffic accidents, etc., which will automatically be transferred to the Eurocop computer program for processing and analysis.

The mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort, and the head of the area, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, held a meeting this Monday at the headquarters of the Local Police of Teguise, where the agents presented a balance of antiCovid actions since the beginning of the pandemic, which has increased considerably in the first two months of the year, with more than 200 complaints filed for non-compliance.

If Teguise reached 400 complaints last year for non-compliance with antiCovid regulations, during the month of January, and a few days before the end of February, they have already registered a total of 200 sanctions, most of them for not wearing a mask, but in some cases also for the celebration of parties in breach of the measures, for concentration of people or for breach of the curfew.

From the Teguise Police they emphasize that all the actions that have been carried out to ensure that the population complies with the regulations imposed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, have been carried out jointly with the Civil Guard, especially, with devices that have been intensified on weekends since the maximum level of health alert was decreed.
