The Government Delegation denies that the tents to house immigrants in Arrecife have been flooded, as stated by the Popular Party. To corroborate these statements, it has sent La Voz several photographs taken from different points of the camp next to the National Police station where no water can be seen. According to them, "a small puddle was created but it was solved immediately."

The president of the Popular Party of Lanzarote and regional parliamentarian, Astrid Pérez, once again denounced this Friday that "the facilities are not the most suitable, because different risks can occur" and insisted again on the "need for the State Government to proceed with its urgent dismantling, given that these facilities do not guarantee either the safety or a dignified care and reception for people."

For its part, the Government Delegation affirms that the Ministry of the Interior "is scrupulously complying with the necessary administrative procedures for the start-up of this CATE, and is collecting the mandatory permits from the port authority, which owns the land."
