Where to have tapas, find all kinds of shops and boutiques or some of the most beautiful corners of the center of Arrecife. All this is part of what appears in each triptych of the campaign "A day in Arrecife", which was presented this Tuesday by the Department of Commerce of the capital and will begin to be implemented from this day.
The campaign consists of 15,000 triptychs, published in Spanish, German and English, which will be distributed in all hotel establishments on the island. It has been presented as a "small useful and practical guide" and whose purpose, like that of the poster that supports it, is "to invite tourists to visit Arrecife and make purchases in the city center", as explained by María del Amor Castañeyra Barrantes, councilor in charge of the Area, accompanied by the mayor Emilia Perdomo.
The initiative, according to Castañeyra, was already communicated to the businessmen of the sector, who gave their approval to the initiative since it was one of their demands for some time. "We trust that with this tool the sector in the city center will be strengthened and we can then expand its dissemination and scope", said the councilor.
