The PSOE of Lanzarote has highlighted that, in the Canary Islands budgets approved this Thursday, amendments from the socialist deputies of the island have been included that ensure 850,000 euros to renovate the facilities of the Zonzamas Integrated Vocational Training Center, in Arrecife.
Of these, 390,000 are dedicated to the renovation of the bathrooms and the enclosure of the center, while the other 460,000 will be used to renovate the electrical installation.
"Vocational training is one of the priorities of the educational and training policy of the Government of the Canary Islands," said socialist deputy Pedro Viera. "With this support to the only integrated vocational training center in our island, we hope to contribute to the sustainable development of Lanzarote, betting on employment, entrepreneurship and Dual Vocational Training, in which students learn a profession knowing the reality of companies," he added.
This item is part of the "commitment of the Lanzarote PSOE to continue contributing to the economic and social development of the island and part of the multiple initiatives of the socialists to reduce unemployment, improve working conditions and the creation of stable and quality employment," they conclude from the party.
