The CACT Works Council has expressed its "disagreement" with the financing by the public company of various events "that have nothing to do with the Tourist Centers."
"From our supervisory responsibility, we believe that it compromises the viability of the public company and does so because it increases spending, creating variations in the income statement," they point out-
In their opinion, "it is a mistake to finance events such as Saborea Lanzarote, Arrecife en Vivo, Los 40 principales, etc. from the Centers." The correct thing for the CACT Works Council would be that "once the fiscal year ends and the profit is allocated to the Cabildo", the institution will be the one that "passes that profit on to the conejera society in the way it deems appropriate, but not directly allocating it from the Centers", because they consider that "it would directly affect the income statement" of the same.
