The Cabildo of Lanzarote approves the advance tender for the cleaning of public buildings

The total budget amounts to more than 7.2 million euros, which will be divided into five specific lots.

The Island Government Council of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, chaired by Oswaldo Betancort, approved last Monday, December 23, the tender and authorization of the advance expenditure for the cleaning and maintenance services contract of buildings, premises, dependencies, demountable facilities and their gardens, with a total budget of 7,285,236.88 euros, plus 509,966.60 euros corresponding to the IGIC.

The contract, which will be divided into five specific lots, aims to guarantee the optimal state of the facilities dependent on the Island Council, improving the quality of services offered to citizens and ensuring efficient and sustainable maintenance.

The breakdown of the tender will be as follows: Lot 1: Central Administrative Building - Casa Cabildo: 1,379,048.48 € + 96,533.40 € (IGIC). Lot 2: Sports City and others: 1,702,966.64 € + 119,207.68 € (IGIC). Lot 3: Island Library and others: 1,401,862.76 € + 98,130.40 € (IGIC). Lot 4: School of Tourism and others: 963,600.72 € + 67,452.04 € (IGIC). Lot 5: Social Welfare and Inclusion Facilities and others: 1,837,758.28 € + 128,643.08 € (IGIC).

The president of the Cabildo, Oswaldo Betancort, has highlighted that "this approval is an essential step to guarantee optimal standards of cleanliness and maintenance in all our public facilities that are at the service of the citizens of Lanzarote and La Graciosa".

After decreeing the beginning of the file, the publication of the tender announcement will soon take place in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) and in the contracting profile of the Island Council of Lanzarote, guaranteeing maximum transparency and participation in the award process.
