The Cabildo of Lanzarote continues to "advance in the improvement actions of the Lanzarote Sports City, in Arrecife", they report from the Island Government. Currently, "projects such as the adaptation and modernization of a local facility are in the process of being awarded, as well as the supply and installation of a public address system for different spaces in these", they collect.

The Councilor for Public Works and Sports, Alfredo Mendoza, points out that "the objective of both projects is to adapt the facilities of the Sports City for better use and higher quality of service offered in them."

The importance of "improving the sound system of the facilities lies in offering a better service to the different activities and events that are held", they recognize, "both for championships, as for collective use classes or for matches and exhibitions", they add. "These have a budget of about 41,000 euros, co-financed by FDCAN funds", they confess.

On the other hand, they announce that the renovation works of the premises have "a budget of almost 60,000 euros", co-financed with FDCAN funds, and contemplate "the unification of the facade, the adaptation of the electrical installations of low voltage, fire protection and plumbing and sanitation and the conditioning of the premises themselves", they make clear.
