The Ministry of Presidency, Public Administrations, Justice and Security, headed by Nieves Lady Barreto, has authorized, through the General Directorate of Relations with the Administration of Justice, the approval of the expense related to the service contract for drafting the project for the installation of a photovoltaic plant in the Arrecife judicial building.
Nieves Lady Barreto has pointed out that "the Ministry has set itself the objective of improving energy efficiency in the different judicial bodies of the autonomous community, so that, gradually, actions will be taken according to the needs and possibilities of each building".
The Arrecife judicial building has favorable conditions such as its location in an area with a high percentage of solar incidence per year and its architectural configuration, with a roof floor with a large surface, allows the installation of the proposed plant.
The installation of a photovoltaic plant in the judicial building implies, among other advantages, the reduction of electricity consumption, reducing the costs borne by the Administration, with the use and savings involved in the production of renewable energy.
