The Arrecife Bus Station opens a tourist information office

It will open its doors from Monday to Saturday and will also pay attention to public transport users and offer cultural information.

The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Pedro San Ginés, and the island councilor for Tourism Promotion and, in turn, president of the Board of Directors of the Society for the Exterior Promotion of Lanzarote (SPEL-Turismo Lanzarote), Ángel Vázquez, have signed this Friday a collaboration agreement between both entities that has allowed the launch in the Arrecife Bus Station of an office where information will be provided to both tourists and public transport users.

"The importance of opening an office of these characteristics in a nerve center of urban and interurban transport on the island", highlighted Pedro San Ginés, while Ángel Vázquez (PP) underlined the peculiarity of the same "as it is located in Arrecife and offers information to both the resident user of the bus service and the tourist who visits us".

In this same context, the island councilor for Transport, Patricia Pérez (CC), highlighted the importance of the office, which will also offer information on cultural activities and will open its doors from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday and from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays, "offer information in different languages, as it will facilitate its use by tourists and public transport users".

The event was also attended by the CEO of SPEL-Turismo Lanzarote, Héctor Fernández, who highlighted "the importance of SPEL-Turismo Lanzarote having a network of offices that shares homogeneous information for tourists and with a unique image, to which is now added that of the Arrecife Bus Station".
