The Teguise City Council is finalizing the contracting of several projects in the municipality whose investment totals just over 235 thousand euros. In addition to contracting the celebration of Carnival 2023, with an extensive program designed by the Culture and Festivities area of the City Council, whose contract is valued at 64,117 euros, the Government group and municipal technicians are launching the administrative machinery that will make possible the development of the II Agricultural, Livestock and Fishing Conference of Teguise in the Agrotechnological Center.

The mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort, who has held meetings with representatives of the primary sector, ratified his "commitment to re-promote one of the most important events in Lanzarote, which will be shown as a showcase and forum for connection between farmers, ranchers and the fishing sector, and the society as a whole.”

The second edition of the aforementioned conference has a municipal commitment of 107 thousand euros, “which will serve to recognize the work of all professionals in the sector, make their work and relevance visible to the cooperative landscape of the island of Lanzarote and La Graciosa and create new synergies and empowerment of a sector that demands greater attention from institutions,” added Betancort.

Together with the Federation of Agricultural and Fisheries Associations Castillo de Teguise (FASAT) and the rest of the representatives of the primary sector of Lanzarote, between March 23 and 26 visitors will be presented with a sample of agricultural, livestock and fishing machinery, phytosanitary products, veterinary products, nautical products, products from organic and conventional farms, livestock samples, dog shows, livestock feed, among other products derived from the primary sector, with a special agricultural market area.
