The San Bartolomé City Council organizes the first Training Days on Adolescence, which will be held on September 19 at the Municipal Theater, an initiative aimed at educating young people and families in the municipality on the responsible and healthy use of technology.
The program aims to provide attendees with useful tools and strategies to support adolescents in their development, promote a critical and healthy use of technology, as well as open a space for reflection on the risks and opportunities offered by the digital world in adolescence.
The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, emphasizes that, "in a digital era like the present, it is essential that local institutions support our families and our young people with initiatives that contribute to a healthy coexistence with technology. These conferences seek precisely that: to give practical answers and generate debate on a topic of utmost importance in our society."
For her part, the Councilor for Social Services, Carmen Medina, highlights that "adolescence is a crucial stage and we want both young people and families to have the information and support necessary to take advantage of the opportunities of new technologies, but also to recognize and face their risks. With these first conferences, we are launching a training and meeting space that we hope to repeat in the coming years."
The program includes the participation of specialists in psychology, education, digital security and communication, who will offer a comprehensive vision of the challenges posed by adolescence and technology, with special attention to mental health and personal development. Tickets will be available from September 1 at the following link.
