Quantum Air lands in Lanzarote

Starting on Friday, the company Quantum Air will connect Lanzarote with Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao with eight weekly operations and 120-seat airplanes. To celebrate the arrival of the first passengers aboard a ship of the firm, the counselor of the Board of Tourism and the Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism, Carlos Espino, will personally receive the people who land in Guacimeta with the first flight of Quantum Air.

In the opinion of the counselor, "this fact constitutes an important piece of news for the island's tourism sector facing the summer season and a support to the foreseeable improvement of the figures of peninsular tourism".

The reception, which will take place in the arrivals area of terminal 1 starting at 9:00 p.m., will consist of a tasting of typical products from Lanzarote and the delivery of promotional material by hostesses from the Board of Tourism, who will be dressed in typical costumes.

Part of the passenger list of this first flight is a group of travel agents from the company Real Spain, responsible for the distribution of tourist packages, who will familiarize themselves with the destination to then recommend it to their clients.
