The Tías City Council has provided the town of La Asomada with a new area for family recreation. Starting this week, coinciding with the festivities of San José Obrero, this town has inaugurated its new picnic area, equipped with wooden tables with heather umbrellas, a barbecue, green areas with trees, all next to the playground.
Workers from the Tías City Council, assigned to the Department of Roads and Works, were finalizing the installation of the tables and benches this Tuesday, in rustic wood, along with their respective large heather umbrellas, in this new picnic area, included within the City Council's public space improvement plan.
The new public picnic area is located near the La Asomada Cultural Center, next to a large parking lot, sports courts, and a playground, which has recently been remodeled with new children's attractions, a synthetic grass floor, and security gates for the little ones, within the municipal plan launched by Mayor Pancho Hernández for the modernization of the municipality's playgrounds.
The entire new picnic area is covered by a green area with trees, so that when they acquire height and size, they provide shade to the tables and benches intended for family gatherings and enjoyment of free time outdoors.
The new La Asomada picnic area will be equipped with several barbecues that will be anchored in the coming days, after the prior assembly of the area intended for tables and benches on concrete slabs, which have already been executed in recent weeks, for greater convenience of users.
