The Vice President of the Cabildo and member of the PIL, Fabián Martín, went this Tuesday to the Civil Guard barracks in Costa Teguise, to testify in the framework of Operation "Unión". Martín has parked his vehicle in the outside parking lot of the barracks, so he has accessed the premises surrounded by media. Upon leaving, although he did not want to make statements, he assured that he was "fine".
The son of Dimas Martín, who arrived at the barracks around 4:00 p.m., was summoned by agents of the Central Operative Unit (UCO), who have dismantled an alleged plot dedicated to collecting illegal commissions in Lanzarote.
So far, the City Councils of Arrecife and Yaiza have been intervened, but this judicial scandal has also been transferred to the Chamber of Commerce and, now, to the Cabildo of Lanzarote.
