Davinia Déniz de León will assume the areas of Beaches and Environment in the Arrecife City Council. This Thursday she took office together with the nationalist Cathaysa Suárez in the extraordinary plenary session.
Davinia Déniz replaces the popular Juanjo López, who left the City Council a few weeks ago. Déniz is a resident of the Maneje neighborhood, is 29 years old, a mother of a girl and is an Administrative Assistant in an important business group on the island where she has developed her work activity in recent years. It is her first public office, although as coordinator of New Generations of the Popular Party she maintains a strong social commitment and has been and is very involved in solidarity causes.
Davinia "is part of the PP's commitment, in the municipal candidacy last May, to the participation of young people in public life," they say from the party.
