Coalición Canaria has publicly demanded from the PP, its government partner in the islands, this Tuesday that "on this occasion it lives up to expectations" with the proposal to distribute the reception of migrant minors, when the decree law that it is negotiating for this with the Government of Spain reaches Congress.

The President of the Canary Islands and Secretary General of the CC, Fernando Clavijo, has gathered in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria all the political groups of the autonomous Parliament that subscribe to the Pact for Immigration - all, except Vox - to explain the state of negotiations with Minister Ángel Víctor Torres to promote the punctual and extraordinary transfer to other autonomous communities of 4,000 of the almost 6,000 migrant minors hosted in the islands.

Through its parliamentary spokesperson, José Miguel Barragán, CC has appealed this time to the responsibility of its partner in the Government of the Canary Islands: "The important thing is that the political negotiation now yields results. It is being tried with one of the parties that support the Government of Pedro Sánchez, such as Junts, but we must not lose sight of the fact that here, in the Canary Islands, the PP governs, which is also part of the Pact for Immigration, and we are going to demand that it lives up to the circumstances on this occasion."
