The Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism of Lanzarote continue to advance in the modernization and transparency of their management with the publication of the specifications that set out the technical and administrative requirements that will govern the acquisition of food and supplies through the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). "This is a decisive step to launch a mechanism that ensures island suppliers and small farmers have access to the purchase of raw materials that bring our restaurant menus to life," said the Councilor of the Entity, Ángel Vázquez. "It is a milestone for the Entity that will allow us to have raw materials of the best quality at the best possible price at any time of the year."Thus, from this Friday, suppliers who meet the requirements established in these tender documents can request their adhesion to the SDA in one, several, or all categories.
With an estimated value of €4,986,973.83 over a three-year period, this Dynamic Purchasing System is established across eleven product categories, which are: Fresh fish, Frozen fish, Smoked, dried, and salted fish, Mollusks, Shellfish, Fresh meat, Refrigerated meat, Frozen meat, Cured meats, Fresh fruit and vegetables, and Frozen fruit and vegetables.
