The San Bartolomé City Council has carried out the renovation of the metal pergola at CEIP Ajei, an action that was awarded to the company Silva del Pino Norman Sebastián for an amount of 35,071.39 euros. The objective has been to improve the safety and functionality of this area so widely used by the students of the educational center.

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, recently visited the facilities to check the result of the work carried out. During the visit, he highlighted that "from the City Council we continue to bet on the continuous maintenance and improvement of the spaces within the educational centers of the municipality. This action responds to the need to intervene in a shaded area widely used by students and which, over the years, showed evident deterioration".

Pérez underlined that these types of interventions are part of the municipal commitment to the educational community. “Our objective is to guarantee safe, adequate, and well-maintained spaces for the daily development of school activities,” he added.

For her part, the councilor for Education, Estefanía Luzardo, pointed out that “the conservation and improvement of educational infrastructures is a priority for this government group. Actions like this not only improve the facilities, but also directly impact the well-being of students and teachers”.

The councilwoman recalled that the City Council continues to work in a coordinated manner with the centers in the municipality to detect needs and respond to demands that allow for the maintenance of dignified facilities adapted to daily use.

With this intervention, the San Bartolomé City Council "reaffirms its commitment to public education and to the maintenance of municipal infrastructures, guaranteeing adequate environments for learning and school coexistence".
