The Coalición Canaria group in the San Bartolomé City Council, through its colleague Jesús Machín Tavío, will demand in the Parliament of the Canary Islands "urgent answers" on the initial approval of the General Plan of San Bartolomé. The nationalists point out that it is a document "vital for its development" of which, six months after having been approved by all the political forces represented in the plenary session, they maintain that "nothing is known".
“It seems that they still have not realized that this document is essential for the development of our municipality, time is pressing and it is more than necessary to start addressing solutions urgently”, says the spokesperson for the nationalists in the Council, David Rocío.
The nationalists point out that, as they promised, "they have not stood idly by and since last February they have been touring the different towns of the municipality and attending to the residents who need to resolve any doubts or procedures related to the aforementioned document".
Now, CC affirms that it "takes one step further" and it will be the parliamentarian of the Nationalist Group (CC-PNC-AHÍ) Jesús Machín Tavío who will demand an "urgent response" in the Canary Chamber. He will do so this Friday, June 2, addressing directly the Minister of Ecological Transition, Fight against Climate Change and Territorial Planning, José Antonio Valbuena, with a "clear and concise" question: "When will the General Plan of San Bartolomé be initially approved?".
“We believe that it is time for them to stop rambling and give us an answer with a date. We are maintaining close contact with the residents, informing them of all the issues raised, but as neither the City Council nor the Government seem to have more information or be willing, in an exercise of transparency, to show their faces to the population and inform them of the planned steps and times, our next step is to go directly to Parliament through our colleague Jesús Machín”, emphasizes the CC spokesperson in the Council, David Rocío.
