The Extraordinary Assembly of the Local Committee of the Canarian Coalition in Haría elected Víctor Robayna this Thursday, October 14, as a candidate for Mayor of said City Council in the elections of May 2023.

Robayna, who took a train trip, metaphorically speaking, to illustrate what these last three years have meant for the municipality of Haría, assured that “the future is to look forward, focusing with the lights of illusion and commitment.” "A future with sustainability as its flag, where concern for the environment, green energies, energy efficiency, ecological agriculture or landscape recovery plans lay the foundations for one of the main pillars of the nationalists' work in the northern municipality," he added.

“We must have our own hallmarks, achieved from more direct and specific social policies that will define our performance profile, and without forgetting that the most important thing is people,” he said.

In her speech, Migdalia Machín wanted to make it clear that “getting here has been a difficult road,” and alluded to the failed pacts with the PSOE and the PMH. “We have had three really complicated years politically speaking. Those who have been our partners have put us to the test, pushing us to the limit and have played with us, breaking agreements and disrespecting us; but we are not going to give up.”

Thus, the nationalist leader expressed her desire that “this mandate ends once and for all in order to open a new door of hope for the municipality of Haría. Something that, as has been demonstrated, can only be achieved with a government of the Canarian Coalition.”

Machín emphasized that the Canarian Coalition does comply because it is a serious and respectful party. “We are a committed party because we believe in the work we are doing and for us, whatever happens, the main thing will always be the residents of Haría,” she said.

Finally, she recalled that
