Coalición Canaria has stated through a press release, which gives the possibility to all Canary Islanders to collaborate in the preparation of the electoral program for the next General Elections through its website, www.coalicióncanaria.org . "We think it is very important to know the concerns of the Canary Islanders, what worries them and what they ask of the State Government, since it is the best way to adapt our electoral program to the needs of the Archipelago", says the Secretary of Organization of Coalición Canaria, José Miguel Barragán. Canary Islanders will be able to introduce suggestions by topic and "all of them will be taken into account when preparing the Government program".
Barragán affirms that this instrument was very useful in the previous elections, both for the party and for the citizens, because in this way, on the one hand, they were able to know the concerns of the Canary Islanders first-hand and on the other, because the citizens "find a forum in which to show what their demands are".
As soon as the page is opened, a pop-up window will appear in which, if you click on the Collaborate heading, the user can enter their contributions. Barragán assures that in less than two days of operation a large number of suggestions have already been received and affirms that they expect to have a high participation, which "would mean that their program combines the concerns of all Canary Islanders".
