The Arrecife City Council signs a collaboration agreement with Everest

The Municipal Archive has been the setting where the Arrecife City Council and Editorial Everest have staged the signing of the Framework Collaboration Agreement for the promotion of culture. The mayor of the capital, Enrique Pérez Parrilla, and the head of Education, María Dolores Rodríguez, were in charge of signing this agreement, in an act that was attended by the director of Institutional Relations of Everest, Juan Manuel Rodríguez, and the area director of Institutional Relations of Everest, Richard Parker.

With the signing of this collaboration, both entities commit to developing educational and cultural projects, aimed at promoting education and culture through different actions and groups of citizens.

Enrique Pérez Parrilla highlighted "the sensitivity and deference of the heads of the Everest Group for betting on actions that extend beyond the scope of culture and that will allow to enhance the architectural, gastronomic or tourist wealth that Arrecife possesses", through the edition of publications or the realization of exhibitions.

During the signing of this collaboration agreement, the collection of stories entitled "Tales of Arrecife" by the capital's author Javier Ramón Hernández, which includes titles such as "Clown's Heart" and "The Cave of the Pond", published by Everest for the Department of Culture of the Arrecife City Council, was presented.

Precisely the head of Culture, María Dolores Rodríguez, took the opportunity to highlight "the commitment made by her department to promote reading through the publication of these stories where values such as friendship and solidarity are promoted".

The 3,000 copies of the first edition of "Tales of Arrecife" will be available in bookstores and educational centers throughout Spain at the end of December and will be present in the Hispanic American market and at international book fairs.
