After becoming the new mayor of San Bartolomé, Alexis Tejera inaugurated his absolute majority by signing the decrees for the distribution of government areas among the different PSOE councilors, with the exception of the Local Police and the General Plan, which he will manage himself, as confirmed by the Council.

The areas of Economy and Finance, Contracting, Human Resources, Internal Regime, New Technologies and Statistics will be managed by Victoriano Antonio Rocío, who has also been appointed first deputy mayor. As for the second deputy mayorship, it has fallen to María de los Dolores Fernández, who will be in charge of Social Services, Equality and Commerce.

The councilor Raúl de León, in addition to being the third deputy mayor, assumes the councilorships of Public Services, Roads and Works, Transport, Traffic, Environment, Renewable Energies, Health, Agriculture and Livestock; while Education, Senior Citizens and Employment will be managed by Alma María González, who has also been appointed as fourth deputy mayor.

As for the councilorships of Urban Planning, Classified and Harmless Activities, Public Shows, Heritage and Housing, they have been delegated to Marlene Tomero Machín, who also assumes the fifth deputy mayorship. For his part, Isidro Pérez will be in charge of Festivities, Culture and Sports; Ama María Lopes of Crafts, Youth and Intercultural Community Intervention Project; and Mamadou Yero Su Cisse of Civil Protection, Citizen Security, Citizen Participation and Tourism.

As for the Governing Board, it will be chaired by the mayor, Alexis Tejera, with the members being the five deputy mayors: Victoriano Antonio Rocío, María de los Dolores Fernández, Raúl de León, Alma María González and Marlene Romero.
