Manuel Vinagre Torres will be the new director of the Lanzarote airport of Guacimeta from June 1, replacing Ángela Navarro Falgas in office. This was announced by Aena, in a statement in which it makes public another seven appointments at different Spanish airports.
The new director of Guacimeta is a senior aeronautical engineer and
began his professional career at Aena in 2005, as a technician of
operations, services, infrastructure and airport maintenance in the Operations and Services Department of the Tenerife Norte Airport.
According to Aena, Manuel Vinagre Torres has held the position of Head of Operations and Services at the Tenerife Norte Airport and since 2009 he has been director of the La Palma Airport.
Ángela Navarro "will disassociate" from Aena
As for the current director, Ángela Navarro Falgas, she took office just over two years ago, after holding various positions at Aena, including the management of the Murcia-San Javier airport. According to the statement, Navarro "has developed almost her entire professional career at Aena", but "will disassociate herself from the organization at the end of June".
Along with the Lanzarote airport, the airports of Valencia, Tenerife Norte, La Palma, La Gomera, Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén, Logroño-Agoncillo and Badajoz will also change directors on June 1.
