Yellow wind warning for this Saturday in Lanzarote

Aemet has predicted that there will be gusts of wind of 70 kilometers per hour on the island throughout the day

The yellow wind warning has been issued for this Saturday in Lanzarote. The State Meteorological Agency has predicted that there will be gusts of wind of 70 kilometers per hour on the island throughout the day. The warning will be present from 2:00 p.m. on Saturday to 12:00 a.m. on Sunday.

As Aemet has warned, the strong gusts of wind will mainly affect coastal and inland areas of the eastern and southern slopes. For that day, the sky will be clear but will have cloudy intervals until the morning on the island. In addition, temperatures will be around a maximum of 24 degrees and a minimum of 16 degrees in Arrecife.

Regarding the storm on Friday, prior to the weekend, the skies will be partly cloudy or clear, except for some cloudy intervals that will be in the north until the morning. Temperatures will suffer a slight decrease, especially the maximums in the east, being in the capital the maximums with 23 degrees and the minimums with 18 degrees. The wind will blow moderately from the northeast, with strong intervals in the last hours of the day.

For Sunday, the maximum gusts of wind will be around 45 kilometers per hour in Tías and Yaiza. In addition, the sky will be clear throughout the day and temperatures will not change much, with 25 degrees maximum and 17 degrees minimum in the capital of Lanzarote.
