The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has decreed a yellow warning for coastal phenomena for this Saturday in Lanzarote. The alert will begin at 00.00 hours and end at 23.59 hours on the same day.
For the next February 24, the northeast wind is expected to blow between 50 and 61 kilometers per hour (force 7) and the combined sea from the north will be 4 to 5 meters. The probability of the wave warning is between 40%-70%.
For this Friday there will be cloudy intervals and little probability of weak and scattered rain on the island. Maximum temperatures will be slightly lower, and minimum temperatures slightly higher, with 24 degrees maximum and 17 degrees minimum in Arrecife. In addition, the northeast wind will blow moderately to strongly and more intensely in inland areas, increasing at night.
Regarding the weekend, for Saturday, the skies will be cloudy throughout the island. The maximum gusts of wind will be 70 kilometers per hour in Haría and temperatures will not change much, with maximums of 22 degrees and minimums of 16 degrees in Arrecife.
Regarding Sunday, Aemet predicts that it will be clear and slightly cloudy in Lanzarote. Temperatures will remain around 23 degrees maximum and 16 minimum in the capital of Lanzarote. And the maximum gusts of wind will be felt in Haría with 50 kilometers per hour.
