Canal Gestión has announced the cuts in the water supply in the areas of Tao, Tiagua, El Cuchillo, Tías and Conil. This was announced this Thursday through its website.

The reason for these interruptions, according to the company that manages the water on the island, are the connection works of the portable water treatment or desalination plants, provided by the Government of the Canary Islands.

In this line, it indicates that its connection to the hydraulic technical system of the Central Díaz Rojo forces the suspension of the production of the Lanzarote III desalination plant.

In addition, Tinajo and the El Monte area will be without a supply of regenerated water this Thursday to be diverted to the Villa de Teguise.

Meanwhile, the agricultural farms that require a supply of drinking water continue without service in Tinajo, Teguise, San Bartolomé and Haría.
