Two civil guards from Lanzarote have tested positive for coronavirus. One is an agent who works at the Costa Teguise barracks and the other is a prison officer.
As soon as the test result was known, the Covid protocol was applied. Immediately, tests were carried out on the direct colleagues of these two agents, and at the moment those close contacts are in home isolation awaiting the results. If they test negative, they will undergo a final PCR and if they test negative they will be able to return to the Corps as normal.
The civil guards with covid have mild symptoms, and for the moment they are isolated in their homes.
