The Tinajo City Council held this Monday, at the Municipal Theater, an institutional event where the imposition of distinctions to seven agents of the Local Police who provide their service in the municipality and who have been active for more than 20 years was carried out.

The presidential table was formed by the mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín Alcalde, of the Tinajo City Council, the head of the Lozal Police, Manuel Pérez Guillén, and the Councilor for Police, Emergency and Civil Protection, Yurena Cubas.

The awarded agents were Manuel Guillen Pérez, Cándido Marcos Lorenzo Hormiga, José Antonio Bernal Quintero, Eduardo Miguel Ferrer Acosta, Pedro Felix Morales Clavijo, José Domingo Rodríguez Delgado and Juan Rafael Pacheco Padrón. All seven were given the insignia for a permanence in active service equal to or greater than 20 years, while five of them were also awarded for being in the body for 25 years.

Two of them also received the insignia for a permanence in active service equal to or greater than 30 years. The most awarded, with four badges for having been in the force for more than 35 years, was the current head of the Tinajo Local Police, Manuel Guillen Pérez.

After the imposition of distinctions, the mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, congratulated the winners and said he felt "very proud" of the 15 agents who are part of the municipal staff "for their dedication and professionalism, always ensuring the safety of citizens."
