The dynamization project "Agüita con el verano" is bringing to the young people of Teguise a program of activities throughout different payments of the municipality, organized by the Department of Youth led by Sara Bermúdez.
"The Teguise City Council has once again committed to making the summer season more entertaining with even more effort, taking into account this year of pandemic in which the little ones have been one of the main victims, since social relations have been diminished," said the mayor of the municipality, Oswaldo Betancort.
"Agüita con el verano" is designed for young people by Juventud Teguise and Aurora Lanzarote with sports activities and workshops that promote equality, respect and a healthy lifestyle, with the aim of "providing entertainment and making the most of free time, always implementing the current health measures", says Sara Bermúdez.
The activities take place from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm on Mondays in La Villa, Tuesdays in Los Cocoteros, Wednesdays in La Caleta de Famara, Thursdays in Caleta Caballo and Fridays in La Graciosa. In addition, the month of August will begin the Summer Cinema from 9:00 pm.
Also, Juventud Teguise continues to develop the children's and youth dynamization plan "Plaza Activa" which consists of carrying out workshops on different themes throughout the villages of the municipality.
"We have already reached almost all the nuclei of the municipality, but the afternoons of activities continue to be carried out throughout the villages", says the councilor of the area, who reminds that those interested "can consult the next dates of the workshops in the networks of Juventud Teguise".
