The young Italian pianist residing in Lanzarote Lorenzo Poggi, will play next July 20 on the Italian Navy ship Amerigo Vespucci at its stop in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Although he was born in Sardinia, in 2015 he moved to the Island of Volcanoes and enrolled in the Arrecife Conservatory.
During his performance, the 16-year-old will play great composers such as Chopin, Bach or Beethoven. This training ship departed last July 1, 2023 from the port of Genoa with the aim of going around the world.
