The Lanzarote Time Bank has organized for next Saturday, the 28th, a barter market, which interested people can attend with the objects they do not use and exchange them for others they need. The appointment will be in the cafeteria Alavuelta bar La Recova, attached to the Arrecife City Council, between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
The exchange will be one for one, regardless of the socially established economic value. Those who do not have products for exchange can contribute non-perishable food, which will go to the NGO Calor y Café.
In addition to the general barter market, the Lanzarote Book Exchange collective will offer students the possibility of exchanging textbooks from courses already completed for those they will need in the future.
For its part, the ecoconsumption cooperative La ReDcova will inform interested people about this collaborative economy initiative, which is currently in the gestation period.
