Hundreds of people will celebrate this Thursday the arrival of Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar to the different towns of the Island

The Three Wise Men are about to arrive in Lanzarote after their long journey from the East. This Thursday they will parade through the different towns of the Island so that children, but also adults, can enjoy their presence.

Thus, the Arrecife Cavalcade will depart at 6.15 pm from the Town Hall. From there it will travel to the Betancores Warehouses, in front of Playa del Reducto. During the journey Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar, accompanied by twelve camels led by children over twelve years old and dressed in typical clothes, will distribute more than 20,000 kilos of sweets.

The parade is complemented by three floats, an animation group of twenty people and the music of the Villa People batucada. The party will end in La Plazuela with the performance of Los Parranderos.

The route of Their Majesties through the municipality of Haría begins at five in the afternoon at the Arrieta pier where the Magi will arrive by helicopter. Then they will tour different locations until they reach Haría at about nine o'clock at night, where the Cavalcade will tour the central streets.

During the tour, residents can enjoy a representation of the House of Herod. At the end in the town square gifts will be distributed.

Teguise

Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar will begin their tour of the municipality of Teguise in the town of Teguiste at 4.45 pm. From there they will travel through eleven locations until arriving, at about 9.15 pm, to the Villa where there will be a final party in the municipal tent.

The Kings will distribute many gifts. For its part, Costa Teguise has its own parade that starts at five in the afternoon from Las Caletas and ends with a big party at the Apartahotel Los Zocos at about 8 pm.

The Magi from the East will begin their tour in the town of Tinajo at five in the afternoon from the football field located next to the Virgen de Los Volcanes School. Then they will pass by the nursing home where they will give a gift to its users. The parade will continue along the main street to the social hall of Plaza San Roque.

The parade will be composed of the Kings on camel, a group of horses led by riders and amazons dressed as Romans, the performance of the municipal band and about twenty people dressed as clowns, jugglers and stilt walkers. At the end of the Cavalcade, the Karoso Collective has prepared a great two-hour show for the entertainment of the children. In addition, the little ones will be able to give the Kings the letters.

Other municipalities

The Cavalcade of San Bartolomé begins at six in the afternoon at Casa Ajei. The parade will go through the streets Brisa, General Franco, Severo Ochoa, Avenida de Las Palmeras, Rubicón, Dolores Ferrer and will end in the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Park.

The Three Wise Men will go on camel accompanied by their pages and floats. In addition, they will have the music of the batucadas Los Guasimetitos and Los Güimeros as well as the Municipal Music Band that will close the parade with Christmas songs. Once the Cavalcade is over, the children will be able to give the Kings their letters and a toy that Their Majesties will then distribute among the children in need. Finally the party will end with a great chocolate party.

The municipality of Tías will receive in this town Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar at 7 pm in the Church of San Antonio. The Kings will tour the main streets. At the end, the letters in which the children have written the gifts they want will be collected. Puerto del Carmen also has its own parade.

In this case it begins at nine o'clock at night on Avenida de Las Playas at the height of the Hotel San Antonio and ends in Plaza del Varadero with the collection of letters. Their Majesties will go on camel accompanied by the pages.

Finally, the Magi from the East will make their appearance in Yaiza at 11.30 am when arriving at Timanfaya Park. In the afternoon in the Plaza de Los Remedios a great show will be celebrated in which more than sixty people will participate in a great show set in the Disney world. In addition, the members of the Uga Dance Pop ballet will perform.
