The singer and songwriter from Lanzarote, Rosana, will present her fifth album -although fourth studio album- on February 3rd and 4th, at the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 'Magia', which is the one with "the most optimistic download", the singer said.

'Magia' has a lot to do with the "genetic optimism" that characterizes Rosana and that, according to her, "until now had not been reflected so much in a record". So much so, that "with this album the same thing is happening as with the first one", that is, that people know the songs a lot, said Rosana, who assured that even "the lovers of 'Lunas Rotas' say that 'Magia' has eaten it".

The "genetics" explains a large part of Rosana's optimism, who, however, also attributes the joy of 'Magia' to her change of record company. As a result of the "transition between the previous and the current", the album 'Marca Registrada', a package that included a live performance -"in which you risk everything because it was recorded in a single concert"-, a DVD and an album with ten unreleased songs, "was not worked on so much and did not have the exposure it had to have". Rosana hopes, however, that "it will get its space over time".

Full house

With 'Magia', which sold out tickets in Tenerife last Wednesday, February 1, and which already has the 'full house' sign hanging for its two performances in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the singer from Lanzarote presents a work "very simple, without any intention of looking for anything spectacular" and "very minimalist from the point of view of the arrangements".

Rosana hopes to have in the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium of the capital of Gran Canaria, the same "very warm audience" that she had in Tenerife, because "playing at home is always easier because you feel more supported". She is also helped by "a small and fabulous band, which offers an intimate, but fun show at the same time".

According to the Councilor for Culture of the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, María Isabel García Bolta, the concert, sponsored by La Caja de Canarias, is the result of the "commitment to the cultural quality of the Auditorium".
