Last Sunday, the Lanzaroteño Club of the Presa Canario held the monographic contest of the Presa Canario in Mancha Blanca, Tinajo. They affirm that "this year, we have achieved the participation of 49 specimens among the different categories". In addition, the association wanted to thank the essential support for the development of its objective, which is none other than the fight for its breed. 

"For a project to work, the work of all the people who make it up is necessary," they say from the organization. For this reason, the club also wanted to thank all those who have made it possible. To the mayor of the Tinajo City Council, D. Jesús Machín Duque, "for his personal support and presence at the event". They have also wanted to reward the participation of the event judge, Miqueas Campos, "without whom it could not have been done", they acknowledge. Finally, they could not forget the "super veterinarian", Julia Jímenez, a fundamental pillar, "who, as always, is at the foot of the canyon to verify the good condition of our dams", they point out.

The contest is divided into several categories. This year, the winners of each one have been the following: on the one hand, in 'Very Male Puppies', Acaife from Marcos Montoro and 'Very Female Puppies', Ankara from Juan Antonio Hernández. In the 'Male Puppies' selection, Cin from Ginés Cedres, in 'Young Male', Claudio de Fencing Dogo from Laureano Álvarez, 'Intermediate Male', Bartolo from Marcial García and 'Open Male', Danko de Caserío from Mozaga de Juan Ferrer. On the other hand, 'Female Champions', Fanega from Laureano Álvarez, 'Female Veterans', Palmera from Calabazo de Laureano, 'Young Female', Noa de Fencing Dogo from Juan Ferrer, 'Intermediate Female', Barbara from Daniel Calero and 'Open Female', Kalessi from Brenda. In the last classifications are: Danko and Noa from Juan Ferrer as 'Best Male of the exhibition' and 'Best Female of the Exhibition'.
