The Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital of Lanzarote, attached to the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands, recently celebrated the 'Correos reparte sonrisas' (Post Office Spreads Smiles) party, an activity that is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility program of the postal entity.
Attendees enjoyed a creative workshop of 'singing socks', where they were taught to create puppets from socks and various materials that served to give them the desired shape, developing the creativity of the participants in the event within a relaxed atmosphere.
The Lanzarote Health Services Management participated with the organization by giving part of its space in order to improve the stay of the minors admitted to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital. Thus, users of the Hospital's Pediatrics area took part in the activity, as well as staff from said area in charge of caring for the minors.

According to the entity, the objective of 'Correos reparte sonrisas' (Post Office Spreads Smiles) is to favor the improvement and quality of life of groups that, due to being in situations of special difficulty such as disability, foster care or hospitalization, need psychological and emotional reinforcement.
