After a weekend full of theater and good music with Somos, Clapso and the Gran Canaria Big Band, the Malpaís Festival continues with its program and goes out to the streets to meet the public in the squares and streets of the Arrecife neighborhoods.

This Tuesday the activities of "Malpaís Closer to You" begin in the Simón Bolívar and San Francisco Javier squares and in the Argana Alta Sociocultural Center, by Adrián Conde and Niño Costrini. Two shows that combine humor and delirium in equal parts.

Adrián Conde

A clown disguised as a person arrives late to his show. The dressing room is behind the stage and the audience is waiting. He should change, but a lady gives him a smile and a child a laugh. Now he doesn't want to leave the stage.

How will he manage to dress in front of so many people? Luckily, a world fits in his suitcase, and in his world a Small Dressing Room. Finally the show begins... A 2-meter coat rack inside a suitcase, clown noses that reproduce, and even a 28-meter-long tie. This is the show "Guess What? by Adrián Conde.

Niño Costrini

Niño Costrini is a born provocateur who makes irony and sarcasm his means of expression and laughter his job. The show combines humor, delirium, circus and physical skill in equal parts, reserving a special place for reflection disguised as a joke.

This big kid is "schizophrenic, extravagant, absurd, mischievous and

lunatic". A universal language show with strong public participation, which has already been awarded at several festivals around the world.

The Malpaís Performing Arts Festival is an initiative of Tunera

Producciones, organized by the Department of Culture of the Arrecife City Council and sponsored by the Government of the Canary Islands, the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Binter Canarias and Naviera Armas.
